Motorcycle Training

Beginner Riding Classes

MSF BRC Class Rome 028

Aside from the NHTS program that we utilize for private lessons, our instructors work with local certified sites to provide beginning rider training. Our new rider instruction is a comprehensive riding program taught by certified instructors. The program consists of both classroom training and many hours of hands on riding instruction. Please contact us and if we cannot provide the services you are looking for we can put you in touch with one of our affiliates who can. The basic program provides the beginning motorcyclist with both mental and physical skills necessary to minimize risk on the street.

In our classroom you will learn about:

  • Different types of motorcycles
  • How motorcycles operate
  • Riding Gear, what to wear for comfort and protection
  • How alcohol and other drugs effect you on your motorcycle

During the riding portions we will cover:

  • Riding Fundamentals
  • Shifting
  • Braking
  • Cornering
  • Swerving
  • Motorcycle Dynamics

Navy 002Each class is limited to a 6 to 1 student instructor ratio. Learning is a fun, step by step process in a secure area and in most cases we can provide you with a motorcycle for this process.

As a student you will need to provide your own riding gear:

  • Sturdy non-flared long pants
  • Sturdy over the ankle footwear
  • Jacket
  • Full fingered motorcycle gloves
  • Helmet Eye Protection
  • And if necessary Rain Gear
